Welcome to VoxelBench. By accessing or using our website (voxelbench.com) and Minecraft plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
VoxelBench provides a benchmarking tool for Minecraft servers. Our services include:
VoxelBench offers a paid certification service for hosting providers to verify and showcase their server performance. By using this service, you agree to the following terms:
Process and Pricing
- A VoxelBench moderator orders your plan through your usual ordering process, like any customer, so that we test what your customers receive. A VoxelBench proof code is placed in the customer account (for example in its name or bio) so that the order can be matched to your request; you will find it among the evidence you review. Each step of your request, the purchase included, is notified to you by email, unless you have turned off certification emails.
- The certification fee is two months of the plan's price plus the VoxelBench commission: (plan price × 2) + commission. It is expressed in the plan's currency: the commission is set in euros and converted into that currency at the exchange rate known when you submit the request. The amount is shown to you before you submit. It covers the purchase and testing of your server.
- We run the benchmark three times on your server; the certified result is the median of the three runs. The hardware detected during the tests is compared with the specifications of your offer, and a certification can only be completed if they match.
- The benchmark process is recorded on video. The video is confidential: its link is shown only to you and to our team, never on the site's public pages.
Validity and Expiration
- A certification is valid for one year from the date our moderator completes it (not from the date you approve it)
- We email you 30 days and 7 days before it expires, and when it expires, unless you have turned off certification emails in your settings
- When it expires, the certification is removed from your public provider page, its own public page is no longer available, and it no longer counts for your offer, your statistics or your ranking. The certified benchmark report stays online with its “certified” mention, together with the date on which the certification expired.
- A certification is not renewed automatically: to remain certified, submit a new certification request before it expires
Contestation Rights
- You may contest a certification within 14 days of its completion by our moderator, as long as you have not approved it: approving a certification publishes it and ends your right to contest it, even before the 14 days are over. After 14 days, you can still approve it, but no longer contest it.
- Each certification can be contested only once, whatever the outcome
- Our team reviews your contestation. If it is upheld, your server is tested again; if it is rejected, the result is maintained with its original dates and deadlines.
- Our decision on a contestation is final within the certification process. We notify you on the site and by email (unless you have turned off certification emails), and on Discord if you have set up Discord notifications.
Refunds and Cancellations
- Until your request has been paid, you can cancel it yourself from your dashboard; nothing is charged
- Once it has been paid, it is fully refunded on request as long as no moderator has been assigned to it
- Once a moderator has been assigned, the work on your request has begun (purchase, then testing of your plan) and the fee is no longer refundable, whatever the result
- A rejected certification is not refunded, whatever the reason (for example, detected specifications that do not match your offer, fraud or manipulation)
Responsibilities
- You guarantee that the specifications advertised for your hosting plan are accurate
- You agree not to provide enhanced or manipulated servers for certification purposes
- You acknowledge that, once you approve a certification, its result becomes public: plan name, score and rank, the scores of the three runs, the tested server's IP address, the main dates, whether it was contested, and the certified benchmark report. Purchase documents, the video, the specification check and the test notes are not published. A certification you have not approved is not published.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

You agree to use our services in a lawful and responsible manner:
- Use the plugin for legitimate benchmarking purposes
- Submit accurate benchmark data
- Respect other users and their content
You may not use our services to:
You retain ownership of content you submit (server names, bios, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to display and use it in connection with our services.
For benchmark data, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and analyze the data for our services.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable.
VoxelBench and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. VoxelBench is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.
Our services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties.
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:
- The services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Benchmark results are 100% accurate for all configurations
- The services will meet your specific requirements
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxelBench shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VoxelBench and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
By User
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. An account linked to a certification file cannot be deleted there: contact us.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
Effect
Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
In accordance with EU directive 2011/83 and articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers based in the European Union benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day they subscribe.
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your account dashboard or the Stripe Customer Portal and no payment will be taken. Cancelling during the trial fulfils the right of withdrawal with no further action required.
If you cancel after the trial, you stop being billed at the end of the current billing period; partial refunds for the current period are not automated but can be requested by email — we review them case by case.
Certification requests follow their own cancellation and refund rules, set out in the “Certification Service” section above: you can cancel a request yourself until it has been paid; once paid, it is fully refunded on request as long as no moderator has been assigned to it; once a moderator has been assigned, the work on your request has begun (purchase, then testing of your plan) and the fee is no longer refundable.
